| The contemporary world confronts the individual with the experience of uncertainty more than ever before. War and conflict, economic crises, rapid social changes, and an incessant stream of alarming news do not merely challenge one’s external security; they can also penetrate one’s inner world, destabilizing the sense of meaning, belonging, and hope, as well as the vision of the future. In such circumstances, the question of health is no longer limited to how one might protect the body and mind from harm. A deeper question confronts us: "When the future is uncertain, how can one continue to find meaning in life, sustain hope, and engage in responsible action?" Perhaps this very question represents one of the most significant points of intersection between mental and spiritual health in our times. |
